Europe after Renzi

The post has a title that sounds disproportionately more profound than it needs to be. It could disappoint. I just wanted to flag two things. John Mauldin had written a lengthy piece on Italy before the referendum. I saw a chart from PEW research on attitudes towards the EU within Europe. I just got this PEW research/survey from June 2016, published well before the Brexit referendum in Britain. It is worth a look. Quite possible that I had cited it already in these pages, months ago. But, still no harm.
